Beyoncé blows up an artist who claims he didn’t get paid for “Renaissance”
Beyoncé sings “don’t be funny with my money baby” on her album “Renaissance” – and she takes it to heart!
After the fashion and art designer Nusi Quero she accused her stylist, Marni Senofonte, of not paying him For his work on the album, publicist Beyoncé questioned “deeply disturbing” claims.
“It is deeply disturbing that designer Nusi Quero has made damaging statements about Marni Senofonte regarding non-payment for completed work. In fact, he was paid for his work, and there is evidence of all payments made, ”they say.
A Bey representative told us, “We contacted his team and three payments were made to him. The first payment was made on May 9, 2022. “
Quero appeared on Instagram earlier this week and criticized Senofonte for allegedly tricking him into paying for work on the album, including the cover art.
“As a stylist for B, I really expected you and your team to be the best,” he said in an open letter. “But because you don’t reply to texts and emails. I suppose this is the last place I can use before legal remedies to settle your outstanding balances that you owe me and my colleague for about 3 months, ”he continued.
Quero claimed, “Marni paid me a 50% down payment for one of the three works (not the album cover), nothing else, and it took over a month to get it to us.” And while he admitted there was a problem with his bank, he claimed it was fixed immediately.
A representative of Beyonce told us that his accusations were completely false and confirmed that there were problems with his bank.
For example, “the second payment, fifty percent of the down payment at the agreed cost, was made by wire transfer on July 8, 2022. The third and final payment was returned when he changed his account number. It was returned as an invalid account number based on an error on his part, ”the representative said.
“After persistent and exhaustive communication to obtain the correct information about his account and two failed bank transfer attempts, a physical check was sent to him on September 29, 2022 with the final payment,” they added.
On Thursday, Quero deleted his post and Stories from Instagram.
He did not respond to requests for comment.
