Under the alias Kool Keith, Thornton released Sex Style in 1997 as a follow-up to Dr. Octagonecologyst.

Under the stage name Ultra, Thornton and Tim Dog collaborated on the 1996 single “The Industry is Wack” which was quickly followed by the album Big Time. He went by the stage name “Dr. Dooom” and published the album First Come, First Served in 1999. On the first track of the album, the lead actor killed Dr. Octagon.
