Each week, the daring and active pair will travel the British Isles, stopping at some of our most famous angling locations and setting themselves up for some tough fishing tasks. Since the two frequent some of the best waters in the country, including the famous Grenville and Avenue syndicates, every episode of the show is exciting for carp anglers.
Ali recalled that before shooting, “Bobby and Ali stated they would have accomplished something amazing if they could break their carp PBs.” He confidently claims that the latest installment of the series features the biggest catch of British carp ever. That he shot better than his personal best, which had stood since 2011, was great.

In Shropshire, Ali and Bobby begin their long fishing expedition across the British Isles. The two plan to catch a specimen of the crucian before breaking their existing UK carp records.
Ali and Bobby are followed in the second part of the tour as they head out and attempt to land a huge shark weighing over 400 pounds off the coast of Devon. Then they go to Norfolk, where they look for giant catfish.
The team initially visits the River Trent in Nottinghamshire to fish for the reportedly large stocks of barbel before moving on to a ‘secret lake’ where they try to catch some of the huge, tough carp.
Before stopping in Essex to try and beat Bobby’s personal best for British carp, Bobby and Ali go trout fishing in Cambridgeshire on the final leg of their fishing trip.
