Bonnie Piesse is an Australian actress and singer who is married to Mark Vicente, who is also an actor. At the age of 15, she got her big break when she was cast as a trapeze artist on the Australian children’s show High Flyers.

When Piesse first entered the Star Wars world, she was 16 years old. The series had been going on for decades and with the start of the prequel trilogy, which told the story of how Darth Vader came to be, it took it to a new level.

After 22 years, the actress and songwriter is back on the TV show Obi-Wan Kenobi as Beru Whitsun Lars. When she was cast in “Attack of the Clones,” Piesse was not a huge Star Wars fan.

Piesse is now thinking about the future. After completing “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” she filmed “My Favorite Girlfriend,” a “really, really great love story” in which her character has dissociative identity disorder.

This article is about Bonnie’s personal life, including how she feels about her husband.

Bonnie Piesse and her husband age gap

Bonnie Piesse’s husband, Mark Vicente, is almost 18 years her senior. Bonnie was born in 1983, while Vicente, her husband, was born in 1965.

Vicente and Piesse met at NXIVM’s Executive Success Program, where they later got married. But while Piesse worked for NXIVM, she grew suspicious of it after hearing disturbing rumors that their secret organization called “DOS” was trying to force people to work for them.

Because of this, Piesse left the group in January 2017. This naturally caused her to be completely shunned and put a lot of stress on her marriage, especially since Vicente was another major NXIVM member working on a documentary with Raniere.

Vicente and Piesse had some very rough times in their marriage, but they’ve been able to work through it and are still together. In fact, the two currently live in Portugal and their Instagram accounts show that they are having a great time.

Biography

Bonnie Maree Piesse was born on August 10, 1983. When she was 16, she got a call from Robin Gurland, who was responsible for the casting for Attack of the Clones. He wanted her to try for a part in the movie. She eventually landed the role of Beru Lars, who had played Shelagh Fraser in Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope. StarWars.com said on July 7, 2000 that Piesse would play a younger version of Beru in Attack of the Clones. Piesse talked to Beru like she was a little shy, thinking that when Luke Skywalker came into her life, she was growing up. In September 2000, Piesse and the rest of the crew were in Tunisia filming scenes on Tatooine.

In the 2005 film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, Piesse played Beru again. George Lucas filmed part of a scene where a stand-in for Obi-Wan Kenobi gives baby Luke to Joel Edgerton’s character, Owen Lars. In September 2003, while Lucas Episode III was filming, Ewan McGregor gave the baby to Piesse while Owen was played by a stand-in. Edgerton would be filmed and added to the film nearly a year later. Lucas made this change because “he thought Luke would be better off with a woman.” In an interview, Piesse said her role in Star Wars had helped her career “a lot.”

“So it’s easier to fit into some roles than others. And this one was so easy to play that I didn’t feel like I was trying too hard. The most important thing I did to prepare was just be myself. After all I had been through, I was still over PTSD. So I did a lot to heal, nourish and strengthen myself so that I could be on set with all my energy. So it was more about getting by alone.”

Piesse loved seeing what the new Star Wars looked like, and she loved Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Piesse started to like Star Wars and learned more about the franchise after many years of meeting fans and learning what Star Wars meant to them. Piesse has said that Star Wars means a lot more to her now than before, and that she “became kind of a fan in a whole new way.”
