Break-in at Mariah Carey’s house in Atlanta

Mariah Carey may want to be more careful when posting vacation photos.

Page Six only found out that in July, while Carey was busy vacationing in Capri, Italy and enjoying the luxury of a $ 20 million mansion in the Hamptons, her home in Atlanta was broken into.

Police confirmed the break-in, but tell us that since “this is still an open investigation, information may be limited.” It is not known what was done.

Carey representatives did not respond to a request for comment.

The trust, using the same name as several of Carey’s other real estate and business interests, purchased the $ 5.65 million mansion in November 2021. The 9-bedroom, 13-bathroom home features a pool, tennis court and playground.

Carey has meanwhile spent the last month in Italy with boyfriend Bryan Tanaka and her twins Monroe and Moroccan.

Photos of the group were all over the internet – possibly warning thieves that the house would be empty – spending time on the yacht and frolic in the sea. She posted the tour on Instagram.

The singer “All I Want for Christmas” also used social media to promote the real estate company Nestseekers for helping them find Hamptons rental. “Going east for a week soaking up it all,” she wrote on July 25.

The Water Mill House, named after Eagles Point, is on the market for $ 20 million. Carey paid over six digits for her two-week stay.
