Britney Spears’ former assistant reveals whether she spoke to the singer

Britney Spears’ former assistant hasn’t spoken to the pop star even though she was finally fired from a 13-year restoration job.

“I haven’t spoken to her in a long time,” Felicia Culotta told Page Six exclusively at the Thursday opening of “& Juliet” on Broadway.

The Louisiana native who was by Spears’ side early in her career added that while they haven’t been in contact recently, it’s not because of a lack of effort on her part.

“I write all the time,” said Culotta. “I love handwritten letters.

“I just hope and pray she gets them. I know for sure it wasn’t before [in the past]so i really hope he gets it [now]”.

Spears, 40, was in a restrictive conservator from February 2008 to November 2021.

For most of this time, her maintenance man was the father of the “Stronger” singer, Jamie Spears, who controlled her finances and personal affairs, including those with whom she communicated.

Amidst the rise of the #FreeBritney movement, several documentaries have addressed the injustices of probation.

Culotta has appeared on FX and Hulu “Framing Britney Spears” and the New York Times “Controlling Britney Spears”.

In an interview with Page Six, she reiterated that the many reactions the 70-year-old Jamie received were well deserved.

“It’s like karma,” the producer’s liaison said. “Karma will get whatever was bad – karma will take care of it [it]. I believe it”.

Culotta – who witnessed the pop star’s rise to stardom – later recalled Britney’s collaboration with songwriter Max Martin, who also produced tracks for & Juliet.

“Max and Brit were right about everything,” said the former midfielder.

“They listened to her. They wrote songs about the things she thought about. They included her in all the songwriting and they included me in all the shenanigans. So I was grateful to be a part of it.”

Although Culotta has apparently always been supportive of Britney, “Oops! …I Did It Again” recently revealed she underestimated the contribution of her former assistant in documentaries, noting that some anecdotes allegedly “were not even true”.

“The best part for me was when my old assistant was talking about me walking around handing out $100 bills when my first song came out!!!” the “Toxic” singer wrote in a deleted Twitter post earlier this month.

“I’d like to get inside the heads of people like my dad and her and really try to understand why people lie and make things up like this!!!”

Despite the criticism, Culotta told us she was “happy” that her former friend and boss now had the opportunity to speak out.

“I’m so grateful that Brit has regained her own words and her own voice,” the former VIP coordinator said on Thursday. “Which makes me happy.”

She added: “I just hope that her wedding and all the good things that are happening in her life will make her as happy as we would like.”

Britney tied the knot with fitness model and actor Sam Asghari in June, seven months after her restoration job was finally completed.
