Britney Spears praises the video in which Wade Robson, Michael Jackson’s accuser, talks about “trauma”

Britney Spears has shown support for a video that her ex-fiance and longtime choreographer, Wade Robson, released about the trauma of years of accusing Michael Jackson of molestation.

“It warms my heart to see an older man taking the time to even comment on a topic like this!!!” The 42-year-old pop star wrote on Friday in a now-deleted Instagram post alongside a black-and-white video of Wade.

In the clip in which the dancer (41) originally published on his profile On May 10, he promoted his podcast “From Trauma to Triumph” and in the caption he wrote that the episode included an interview with Dr. Peter A. Levine, an expert on “separation, shame, self-compassion, and the role of community” in healing.”

The doctor said in the recording that you don’t have to remember all the details of a traumatic past to heal from it, which Spears really liked.

In her post, the “Toxic” singer wrote about some of the difficult experiences she’s had under her 13-year conservatorship and added, “I don’t want to remember these things… but now I see I can’t face my past, how can I move forward , if I don’t know where I was???

Spears then stated that the “king” hates alcohol – even though she is often seen with a drink in her hand while on vacation – and denied that she uses drugs. She also claimed to see only one therapist.

The message “Oops! The “…I Did It Again” singer concluded her message by once again praising the “older man” in the music video – although it’s unclear whether she was talking about Wade or Dr. Levine, who also stars.

“I wanted to share this because it really touched me to see this older man speak out on a topic that is extremely sensitive to my heart!!!” – she wrote.

“I totally understand what he’s saying and I think I’m going to cry for the rest of my life now!!!”

Page Six reached out to Wade’s representatives for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

Spears and the choreographer have a long and complex history.

They have worked together on several music videos and world tours for the Grammy Award winner, and the “Womanizer” singer even cheated on Justin Timberlake’s ex with Wade.

“We were out one night and went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I kissed him that night,” she wrote in her book “The Woman in Me,” which was published in October last year.

The indiscretion caused the “Cry Me a River” singer, now 43, to confront Robson while Spears was hosting “Saturday Night Live” in 2002 and shortly after breaking up with her via text message.

Robson and Spears do not appear to have maintained a friendship. In recent years, the choreographer has spoken out about the alleged molestation he experienced as a child by Jackson.

Robson and actor James Safechuck spoke about what they allegedly endured in the 2019 HBO documentary “Leaving Neverland,” including the former’s claims that the “Smooth Criminal” singer molested and raped him from the ages of 7 to 14.

The two men also filed several lawsuits, one of which was dismissed in 2017. The case was reopened under a California law that encourages victims and witnesses of sexual assault to testify in court, but kicked out again in 2021

In his ruling at the time, the judge wrote that there was “no evidence to support the plaintiff’s allegations.”

However, in August 2023, the California Court of Appeals ruled that Robson and Safechuck, 46, could stand trial on harassment allegations.

Spears supporting her former love was met with mixed reviews online.

One person wrote by X“The way Michael Jackson did nothing but do what was right for everyone and then was rewarded with lies and betrayal is always astonishing. Shame on everyone whom Michael helped in their lives and careers. Including this btch [sic] Britney.

However, another who disagreed he said“Britney never said Michael Jackson wasn’t innocent, clowns.”

While Jackson was alive, Spears was a huge supporter and fan of the King of Pop, even presenting him with an award at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards.
