Cardi B reacts to trolls calling her “fat” after her performance.
She had something to say.
Cardi B criticized trolls who shamed her by shamelessly devouring a large plate of pancakes after a Las Vegas performance.
“I’m starting to feel ashamed of my body. I’m very sad,” the 31-year-old rapper sarcastically said – he said in a video shared on social media as she sprinkled whipped cream onto three golden brown pancakes.
“Everyone says I look fat and that I have such a fat ass,” she added, pretending to sniffle and cry.
Cardi took huge bites of her syrupy breakfast and licked her lips before comically groaning, “Everyone hates me.”
The “WAP” artist continued to stare at the camera as she dug into the short stack of pancakes, cutting large pieces and dipping them in maple syrup and sour cream before devouring each sweet bite.
Cardi’s fans applauded her for standing up to the haters.
“I love how he can joke about it and move on. It gives maturity,” wrote one person on X.
“Lmfao! Perfect video from @iamcardib with pancakes and WHIPPED CREAM! She doesn’t care what anyone says about her! I love you @iamcardib,” a second fan commented.
“She has such a sense of humor,” wrote another.
However, several netizens pointed out that the Grammy winner was trolled for her “botched” plastic surgery and not her weight.
“Nobody said it was yours [sic] fat, we said these surgeries look crazy,” wrote one of the haters.
“No one said she had to stop with blisters, I thought she looked great before,” a second person agreed, using an acronym for Brazilian butt lift.
“@iamcardibYou’re FAT, not fat,” another chimed in succinctly.
“No one said she was fat, they said it was bbl inappropriate [sic] @iamcardib,” someone else added.
Cardi’s look raised eyebrows as she wore a skintight leopard print jumpsuit that showed off her curves while performing at Drai nightclub on Saturday.
The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker previously underwent plastic surgery to enlarge her buttocks and breasts, and admitted to undergoing liposuction and other procedures.
Cardi said she doesn’t care about the harsh criticism she faces over her decision to go under the knife.
“[People tell me]“Lazy, you should just exercise,” she said on Instagram Live in 2019. “I do whatever the hell I want with my body. I don’t have the same time of day as you.
She continued, “Well, my job as an artist is 24/7, bro. So no, I don’t have time to exercise and I wanted specific things that I know I can do no matter how much I exercise [will] not to be fixed.”
