Catherine Lowe praises Jesse Palmer despite Chris Harrison’s absence

Catherine Lowe says she is still “obsessed” with Chris Harrison, but admits that Jesse Palmer is doing a “really good job” of running the “Bachelorette” in his place.

The 36-year-old former reality show star described the transition as “very smooth,” speaking to Page Six Friday as part of promoting her new Lizol partnership.

“They did a really good job picking Jesse,” Lowe said of the former NFL star. “He has a very similar background to Chris in which he will appear, but when he leaves the camera you don’t think about him anymore.”

She continued, “That’s what Chris did really well. It did not take the brilliance of real conversations.

Lowe not only believes that 43-year-old Palmer is doing it “so well” with co-hosts Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, but also praises the “unique perspective” the sports commentator gives to the show.

“[He can say]”Hey, I’ve been there before, I know,” said the former ABC personality. “I’m glad I watched him, but of course I’m still obsessed with Chris Harrison.”

Harrison, 51, left the franchise in 2021 after being called on to make race-insensitive remarks during an interview.

She was the host of “Bachelorette” Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe took over for one season, but Palmer has been hosting them since then.

Though Lowe is still watching, her husband, Sean Lowe, doesn’t – but Catherine made it clear that he wasn’t “boycotting” the show, even though he had said it before.

“He only watched it to tweet about the guys… and he doesn’t enjoy it anymore because [of] Twitter and play [when you] laugh at people, ”she explained.

38-year-old Catherine and Sean met and fell in love in season 17 of the series, and now they share three children – 6-year-old Samuel, 4-year-old Isaiah and 2-year-old Mia.

The little ones are “totally unaware” of their family’s fame, and Catherine tells us that they think it is “perfectly normal” to be in magazines and only express confusion as to why their parents have “so many friends.”

Samuel, Isaiah and Mia are now making new friends as all the siblings have started school in the last month.

Former graphic designer helped his offspring stay safe in the classroom with Lysol products by telling us about the brand The initiative HERE for healthy schools.

“I love that my kids play in a great, clean, safe environment where kids can be kids but still learn what they’re learning,” Catherine explained. “These kids are getting the experience they should have in school.”
