Chainsmokers singer claims TI slapped him in the face at a party

The Chainsmokers’ Andrew “Drew” Taggart says the Atlanta rapper recently punched him at a party after kissing the MC on the cheek.

“TI literally slapped me in the face,” Taggart, 32, allegedly on Tuesday in the movie posted on the TikTok group website titled “When Meeting TI Goes Wrong”.

“We’re in a good mood and I kissed him on the cheek, it was totally my fault,” he added as teammate Alex Pall, 37, laughed in the background.

“And he said,” Don’t do this, “and I said,” Okay, “and he pushed me away. I thought, “It’s okay, my fault,” Taggart continued.

“He punched me in the face and I was like,” Okay, I’m sorry, “and he was like,” Okay, cool, we’re good. ” It was the strangest interaction ever.

The Takeaway artist accepted his participation in the fiasco, adding: “TI is absolutely right here. I felt like I could feel the vibration too much and I kissed TI on the cheek and he punched me in the face for it. Everything’s all right”.

Some fans defended the songwriter with one comment: “You just feel good about your sexuality, there’s nothing wrong with a kiss on the cheek 😘 🥰”.

Others, however, believe that it was not the right move without consent.

“BOUNDARIES !!! I can’t kiss people without permission, my boy, you know better! Lol 😘” wrote one of the followers and another added, “What kind of atmosphere did you all feel that you think you can kiss TI on the cheek?”

The next day, TI – real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. – I took on Instagram briefly raise the issue and invite the duo to their podcast “Expeditiously”.
