Who is Charleen Gonzalez?
On November 15, 2008, Charleen Chuke Gonzalez and Dr. Jorge Mario Gonzalez Zamora on the family property in Bellville, Texas. The ceremony took place there. She had already given birth to their first child, a son named Mario Raphael Gonzalez, when she discovered she was pregnant with their second child. The due date was set for February 17, 2010, which also happened to be the incoming physician’s 57th birthday. However, a sad robbery planned by their ranch hand, Noel Galvan-Cerna, will result in the doctor’s murder, and he will never see his second child again for the rest of his life.
On August 22, 2009, an Austin County dispatcher received a call from Charleen who dialed 911. As she cried on the phone, the dispatcher could hear gunshots in the background. She was able to utter the words, “There are men in our house! My wife is kicking them out! In addition to this, she said, “My husband… oh Lord! My one-and-a-half-year-old son was playing outside. Oh my god, I believe I just heard my hubby. After receiving the call, he came the police at the scene of the crime within minutes and discovered that Jorge had been shot dead, that Noel had a gunshot wound to the arm, and that Raphael was crying. While the other two were standing on the balcony, the doctor was lying lifeless on the ground.
As soon as they entered the house, the officers heard Charleen screaming from inside the bathroom. After the terrified mother and her crying son reunited, the police informed her that her husband had been killed. He thought about the situation and said, “The policeman I was walking with, he told me that Mario didn’t make it.” And at that point, my knees just gave out, and he picked me up. After leaving their home in Houston, Charleen went on to describe to officers how she and her husband traveled to their ranch at approximately 11:45 a.m.
Charleen was busy removing the trunk while Noel and Raphael played outside and Jorge went inside the house. He described how he saw the attackers, saying, “I approached to the right and I saw this guy, he was wearing all black with a mask, and he started coming towards me.” He went on to describe how he fought off the attackers. I screamed, and my body carried me home when I got there.” While her husband continued to fight off the attackers with his pistol, she barricaded herself in the bathroom with her phone and hid there until her husband came back in. He recalled it later, saying, “After a few gunshots, everything went quiet.” And all of a sudden, there were two masked men looking at me inside the room.
“That’s when I understood that I was probably going to die that day,” Charleen continued. The bathroom door was attempted to be opened at the exact same moment as the previous event. And I was exerting every ounce of my energy to prevent him from entering the restroom. He was unsuccessful in keeping it closed. He went on to say, “He opened that door, and he pointed the gun in my face, and… I believe he’s out of bullets by now. And he just left. I looked out the window and watched the men who were there suddenly run away.”

Where can I find Charleen Gonzalez at this hour?
Charleen provided the authorities with information about Noel’s work history in the family as well. He explains that she is their family’s nanny, Esperanza’s daughter, and she drives him to work every day. In 2008, Jorge extended the young man a job opportunity at the ranch. He added, “When I first met Esperanza, she seemed so beautiful and sweet, and she was a little shy. He’s doing great, and Baby Mario seems to really like him. Charleen had the following to say about Noel when asked about him: “Noel is a pretty amazing kid and we consider him family.”
Charleen was present throughout the trial, where two of the defendants were found guilty and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. In February of 2010, she gave birth to her second child, a son named Giovanni. She is now known by her new married name, Charleen Gonzalez Burleson, after recently remarrying. Charleen, for reasons that are quite understandable, decided to hide her personal life from public view, and this includes her whereabouts. On the other hand, there is a good chance that he will still be in Texas.
