Rejected from “Love Island USA,” Chazz Bryant and Bella Barbaro share different views on their secret meeting after the show in exclusive interviews with Page Six.

“We made contact after the villa,” says Bryant, revealing that he kissed Barbaro in his hotel room the night they were both dumped from the series Peacock.

The interaction took place during a movie night with a fellow Islander Chanse Corbi who was just inches from the couple as they stroked each other in bed.

Corbi was busy watching The Butterfly Effect, Ashton Kutcher’s extremely sexless psychological thriller from 2004.

“I’m a great third wheel so I just supported them,” says Corbi with a laugh. “I thought, ‘You have a great life! I’ll just play a movie and relax. ”

Corbi’s presence certainly did not disturb Bryant.

“I had contact with Bella, which was obvious,” she continues. “In fact, we still felt well enough to kiss each other and be on the same level as when we were in the villa.”

Bryant and Barbara technically left “Love Island USA” together. But their relationship suffered from Bryant’s interest in Barbara’s best friend, Phoebe Siegel – whom he had pursued only to realize he wanted to stay paired with Barbara.

By then, however, the singer and songwriter had expressed a desire to move away from Bryant and began working with novice Joel Bierwert.

The fan-voted departure of Barbaro ultimately led to the tears of the handsome bodybuilder – and the Casa Amor bomb was looking for solace outside of the show.

“I’m coming out of it, I feel a whirlwind of emotions. I say, “Oh my God, I just got sent home. Why was I sent home? This is nuts. Does America dislike me and that’s why I was sent home? ” She says, adding that Bryant’s feelings made her feel better at the moment.

“He said,” Yeah, so she didn’t miss Joel that much. ” It definitely was, but I needed the comfort of not being alone and not saying, “Oh my God, I’m going back to loneliness and going home alone.” It was a lot to process. ”

While Bryant believes his relationship with Barbara “isn’t severed” after an off-camera kiss, the latter has seen no significant effort to pursue her.

“I haven’t really heard from Chazz at all. So I was very shocked when he said, “Oh yeah, there’s still a chance for me and Bella,” he tells us. “And I thought,” I haven’t even heard from you. So how can there be a chance if we haven’t even spoken, sir? “

Barbaro has since checked in with Bryant via SMS, though talks about reigniting their romance seem unlikely.

“I have nothing but love and respect for him. I definitely liked him very much and we got on very well, but I think at the end of the day it feels like we are friends, ”she says.

“That’s what I feel in my heart and I know it’s so fucked up that I just made friends with it. But that’s how I feel. “

Meanwhile, Bryant hopes that he and Barbara will meet on a date with the Tri-State Area as he lives in New Jersey and she lives on Long Island.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if we were spending time outside of a villa in New York, because we’re not too far apart. So the date may be in the future, ”she says.

“I can’t say for sure, but I don’t know why not.”

Barbara doesn’t hold her breath.

“It won’t spoil my sleep if I don’t reach out,” she assures. “That is all I have to say.”
