How to cast Safari browser from Mac to TV
- Connect to a Wi-Fi network with your Chromecast, and then connect your Mac to the same network.
- Open the Chrome web browser on your Mac. Select the cast menu by right clicking on the browser screen.
- Alternatively, tap the three dots icon in the browser and select the Cast menu.
- The Mac searches for nearby devices connected to the same network. Select the Sources tab once your Chromecast name appears in the browser.
- Select Cast Desktop, then tap your Chromecast’s name.
- Choose and share your Mac’s screen.
- After mirroring Mac, quit Chrome and launch Safari.
- Now open Safari browser and watch video or browse web pages on TV.
How to cast Safari from an iPhone or iPad to a TV
- Download the Replica app from the App Store.
- Once installed, launch it and select your Chromecast device name.
- Press the Start button and select the Start Transfer option.
- Your iPhone’s screen will appear on the TV.
- Now launch Safari browser to view it on your TV screen.
Another option is to use a Lightning Digital AV Adapter.
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the Lightning Digital AV Adapter and the other end to the HDMI port on your TV.
- Turn on your TV and select the appropriate input source.
- Connect the Lightning end of the adapter to your iPhone.
- After a few seconds, the iPhone screen will mirror the TV screen.
- Launch Safari browser on your iPhone and start browsing to view it on the bigger screen.
