Ciara Rose Baughn was a 26-year-old woman from Holly Springs. Shee went for a swim at Old Rope Mill Park in Woodstock. After officers located a parked vehicle at the park site and no owner at the place, an elaborate investigation was tackled. After Ciara’s disappearance was officially filed, more than 60 first responders attempted to discover and assist the female. But not a single attempt was thriving. Divers found Ciara’s stays in the I-575 area of Little River, according to Patch News. Ciara’s untimely demise is said to be due to drowning.

After she went missing while swimming in Old Rope Mill Park, several concerned administrators and rescue crews were called in to assist. The list contained the Woodstock Police Department, the Woodstock Fire Department, the Cherokee EMA and the Cherokee Fire Department included in the comprehensive search.
On March 7, 2022, at around 11:30, a Woodstock police officer parked her car outside the parking area. But saw no motorist or owner at the place. The first responders also attempted to help her by throwing some flotation vests at her. But she rejected their efforts to assist.
Ciara Rose Baughn called her mother to get her some dry garments to the park where she had reached for a swim. She could not find her daughter and so she contacted 911 for help.
The firefighter’s team found her floating downstream in the lake area and threw numerous flotation vests and equipment to her aid. But she ignored the help and continued downstream. Presumably due to lengthened vulnerability to cold water causes of hypothermia and confusion was at play.
