Country star Zac Brown is suing his estranged wife Kelly Yazdi



Country singer Zac Brown is suing his estranged wife Kelly Yazdi over an Instagram post that he says violates their non-disclosure agreement and damages his reputation.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ On Friday, the Zac Brown Band singer asked for a temporary restraining order that would force Yazdi to delete the post in question. He believes this will prevent his ex from making false, defamatory or harmful statements about him.

The Instagram photo in question has not been revealed. Yazdi, who married Brown in August 2023, mostly shares photos and videos of herself in swimsuits and engaging in sports such as swimming, snowmobiling and fishing.

“Her love was always unconditional. She thought it was him too… But over time it became clear that he only knew conditional love; his unhealed trauma expressing itself through the need to tame,” she wrote under a video of herself swimming in a pool.

Referring to the control tactics experienced by the character in the caption, she wrote: “Don’t model anymore. Delete this photo from your Instagram. Don’t wear this at home. Don’t post that bikini photo. Don’t post any more fitness videos. Yes, I told you you could post it, but now I’m telling you to delete it.

Yazdi continued the caption: “Projections. Gas lighting. Dangerous. Stoning. These are the ingredients of narcissistic abuse.”

Page Six did not immediately receive a response from Yazdi or Brown’s representatives regarding the lawsuit.

The Ride Wild founder, 33, and the “Chicken Fried” singer, 45, got engaged in 2022 while vacationing in Hawaii. While it’s unclear how long they’ve been dating, she has been spotted in various social media posts from the band throughout the summer.

Zac was married to jewelry designer Shelly Brown for 12 years. They announced their split in 2018.
