Al Rocker and wife Deborah Roberts revealed on Instagram that several strangers stepped in to lend a helping hand after their car broke down while they were out to dinner.
“Friday is over. The kindness of strangers,” wrote Deborah, a correspondent for ABC News, in an Aug. 13 post. “After a nice dinner… bummer. The car’s battery is dead. What shall I do? I took a risk and went to a stranger to get connecting cables.”
Deborah shared that the situation could have been bad, but luckily it changed when “Phil and his lovely family came to the rescue”. She added: “We’re not going to walk 5 miles tonight! Cheers, Phil. Thank you for the #kindness.”
