Crystal Renay says “no chance” she’ll come back with Ne-Yo
Never ever always back to myself.
Crystal Renay says the chances of reconciling her husband, Ne-Yo, are slim.
“No way” said inquisitive paparazzi TMZ off Los Angeles International Airport on Friday.
“Some things cannot be forgiven, but God will forgive, and one day I will,” she added, explaining that she felt “a Christian in [her] has to [forgive] one day.”
Renay, who appeared optimistic and without a ring in the clip, noted that they were both “moving on to a better life.”
Regarding whether it involves re-dating, she shrugged and replied, “Only God knows.”
Earlier this month, the 36-year-old model filed for divorce from the 42-year-old singer, claiming that he had “recently fathered” a child with his “lover” amid earlier allegations of infidelity.
Renay cited the couple’s separation date as July 22 and called their marriage “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”
She and the Grammy winner (real name: Shaffer Chimere Smith) were married for the first time in February 2016. The reckless couple divorced two years later but remarried last April.
Together, they have three children: Shaffer, 6, Roman, 4, and Isabella, 1.
In her divorce application on August 1, Renay requested basic physical custody as well as joint legal custody of their children.
The day before the application, the “heartbroken and disgusted” model accused the R&B singer of cheating in a long Instagram post, calling him a “narcissist” and calling their time together “eight years of lies and scams.”
She said she spent the marriage “unwittingly dividing.” [her] life and husband with numerous [sic] women who sell him their bodies unprotected… each of them! “
Renay also suggested that Ne-Yo might have begged her forgiveness, writing, “Asking me to stay and accept this is absolutely crazy.”
The musician kept his answer succinctly, tweeting shortly after her statements made headlines: “For the sake of our children, my family and I will solve our challenges behind closed doors. Personal matters are not to be raised and discussed in public forums. “
He also asked the public to “respect [him] and [his] family privacy at that time. “
