Danielle Cabral has recorded a techno song inspired by the drama “RHONJ”.
Danielle Cabral is adding her voice to the chorus of part-time pop stars in the Bravoverse.
The 38-year-old “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star revealed on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast that she recently recorded a song inspired by the drama she experienced while producing the unscripted series’ 14th season.
“It’s a techno song. I can’t even believe I’m saying this! But it was so funny. It was a really good time,” Cabral enthuses, adding that her second season as “Housewife” helped her get the lyrics for an as-yet-untitled song.
“Anyone can really fall in love with it,” she says, emphasizing that the song isn’t aimed at any of her castmates in particular. “It’s like, ‘Watch me, when you see me you’ll know I’m good.'”
Cabral recorded the song last week but hasn’t heard the final mix yet.
I didn’t even hear it. They’re mixing it right now, so I haven’t even heard the whole thing,” she says, although she’s sure the final product will be a summer “anthem.”
The founder of Boujie Kidz follows in the musical footsteps of her friend and partner Melissa Gorga, who released her cult jam “On Display” in 2011.
“I could only [hope] to be as successful as Miss Gorga and her songs!” Cabral says, praising other gems in Gorga’s discography, including “I Just Wanna,” “Rockstar” and “How Many Times.”
The new recording artist adds, “I learn from the best!”
Cabral’s experience on the current installment of “RHONJ,” which premiered on May 5, has been full of ups and downs.
While her once close bond with Jennifer Aydin fell apart on camera, her friendship with former frenemy Rachel Fuda blossomed.
“We just said, ‘OK, let’s start again from scratch,’ and it was nice. We have a great friendship and the things that irritated or even discouraged me about it last year are endearing this year,” Cabral says of Fuda, 32. “We say we are fire and ice.”
As for Aydin, 47, Cabral is more than happy to end their relationship.
“I thought, ‘Wow, that’s who you are. Is this the person I was friends with?” – she remembers asking herself that question when the women got into an explosive fight while filming.
“And this is a really emotional moment for me. Sometimes I can’t help myself. In this particular case, that did not happen.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
