Demi Lovato forced to postpone Holy Fvck after losing her voice
As Demi Lovato says, it’s not good when it’s not okay, so the singer takes the time to make sure she’s feeling best again.
The 30-year-old singer was forced to hit the brakes and put off Wednesday’s concert from her “Holy Fvck” tour in Rosemont, Illinois.
“Rosemont, today I woke up and had absolutely no voice” read the statement. “I’m so sorry but it breaks my heart to say I have to reschedule the program. Tickets will be honored for the new date as soon as it is announced.
The hit author “Cool For The Summer”, who uses the pronouns “she / she” and “them / them”, apologized to his loyal fans for having to take his time off.
“It’s absolutely the last thing I want to do,” wrote Lovato. “I have a lot of fun with you guys and I can’t wait to see you again. Sorry again and I appreciate your understanding. I love you all.”
The Rosemont Theater, located in the suburbs on the outskirts of Chicago, assured ticket holders that they would still have a chance to see Lovato in concert. Tickets will be honored after the date change is announced.
Lovato is scheduled to be on tour until November 6, when the tour concludes at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas.
Her next appearance is scheduled for October 7 in Detroit, however it is unclear if she will be fit to perform.
It comes after the singer announced last month in a series of deleted Instagram posts that the “Holy Fvck” tour would be her last.
“I’m so fucking sick I can’t get out of bed,” wrote Lovato alongside pictures that appeared to be taken from a hotel room.
“I can’t do this anymore. This next tour will be my last. I love and thank you. “
