Do Park Dong-ha and Eun-ju Die? A Model Family

Dong-ha Park is he dead?

Dong-ha didn’t die in the first season of A Model Family. At the beginning of the series, he is an assistant professor at a university. He squandered the funds his family painstakingly saved for his son’s heart transplant trying to land a position as a full-time professor. Eun-ju says that she wants a divorce, even though she isn’t aware of it yet. One day, on his way home, Dong-ha finds a van with two dead bodies and a large amount of cash inside. After that he buries the victims, hides the money and drives away. However, Dong-complete’s inexperience as a crook causes him to make a series of mistakes that result in the police and other criminals showing up at his door.

It was determined that the money represented the reckoning that the Yongsoo ring should have sent the Sangseon ring. While the latter imports methamphetamine to South Korea, the former distributes it there. Yong-soo, the leader of the Yongsoo Ring, knows they are in danger and puts Ma Kwang-chul in charge of finding the funds. The humble teacher stole the money, Kwang-chul realizes immediately. Kwang-chul initially wants to kill Dong-ha, but then changes his mind. He is aware that the best drug mule he will ever find is Dong-ha, a family man with a sick child.

As the show progresses, Kwang-chul respects the other man and ensures his safety and his family’s protection by conquering the Sangseon Ring. Dong-ha decides to report himself to the police, but just as he is about to go to the police station, he gets a call. When an unknown person tells him to keep the phone safe if he wants to keep his family safe, the Parks find themselves caught in a cycle of agony and danger.

Eun-ju is she dead?

No, Eun-ju doesn’t die in the season of A Model Familyfirst either. At the beginning of the series, she harbors a lot of anger towards her husband, and by the end of the season, that emotion hasn’t entirely gone away. We learn that she was dating Han-cheol, the deceased driver of the car who was also an undercover cop. She becomes even more angry with Dong-ha when she learns what he did with the money that was meant for her son. Eun-ju convinces Kwang-chul to let her see her husband if he hands over the money after finding out what Dong-ha did for him. She finds out that she and her husband were used as bait at the end of the episode. Eun-ju is confident about her family’s safety near the end of the season. She will soon learn that her family’s problems are not yet fully resolved.
