DWTS Season 31: Charlie D’Amelio goes up against a family member

Fans are going to see if the talent actually works for the D’Amelio family in season 31 Dancing with the stars premiering this fall.

A source tells E! News Charlie D’Amelio is going to participate in a reality series this season with her mother, Heidi D’Amelio.

The TikTok star and her mom are just two of the many contestants who will appear Dancing with the stars debut season on Disney+. In April, ABC announced that the competition series would move to the streaming platform, a first for the television world.

While fans are hesitant about the show leaving network television for broadcast, the longtime judge Carrie Ann Inaba told E! June news that she is very excited to see how things turn out. “I think it’s going to be a really nice change,” she said. “After 30 seasons, some shows don’t do that well. The fact that we’re still evolving and trying new things says a lot about our brand.”
