Emma Corrin shows off her armpit hair on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, dividing social media

Emma Corrin is glowing – and growing – on the cover Harfar Bazaar.
The star of Netflix’s “The Crown,” who is non-binary and uses “they/them” pronouns, struck a powerful pose in Miu Miu underwear and a matching tank top for the June/July 2024 Freedom Issue.
However, Corrin’s visible armpit hair definitely attracted the most opinions.
“Please shave… it’s not about human rights… it’s about personal hygiene” – one critic commented on the Instagram post cover shared by both Corrin and Harper’s Bazaar.
“I am [sic] “sorry but the hairy armpit trend is like ‘taking’ from Mean Girls… stop trying to achieve it… it will never happen,” wrote another.
A third wrote: “How far have fashion covers come.”
Others couldn’t help but point out the double standard in this game and were confused as to why people were so keen on Corrin showing off his armpit hair.
“I can’t wait for everyone to be upset about the hair that naturally grows under their arms,” commented writer Chrissy Rutherford.
“Men with hairy armpits telling women to shave for hygiene reasons… that’s ironic,” added another.
“So according to the comments, women are ‘unhygienic’ if they don’t shave, but no one would bat an eyelid if it was a man? Hmm, ok,” wrote another.
I added one more: “I’m always amazed to see people losing their hair due to body hair. There are all these terrible and bad things going on in the world and you’re worried about someone’s shaving preferences.”
Elsewhere, Corrin showed off a floral Duran Lantink bikini, a sheer Coach minidress, a Dolce & Gabbana mesh bra paired with red Wolford tights, and more eye-catching styles.
The risqué star, who plays supervillain Cassandra Nova in the latest film “Deadpool,” spoke to the publication about the ups and downs of life in the spotlight.
“People follow me because they saw what I was doing. They think I’m the type of person and then they’ll see who I really am and how I present myself and…” they said, falling silent for a moment. “I will never understand why. Who are you hurting by being yourself? Why am I controversial?”
The answer, according to Corrin, is “fear.” Absolute fear.”
The only thing we are afraid of is the absence of Corrin in the Marvel movie “Deadpool and Wolverine”, which will hit theaters on July 25.
