Erika Jayne suggests she confronted Kathy Hilton about alleged gay slander
Erika Jayne apparently sticks to claims that Kathy Hilton made gay insults by talking to an employee of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” an associate of Sutton Stracke.
“I was there. It happened. What the” audience “chooses to believe is beyond my control, says the 51-year-old reality show star in a statement shared via her Instagram story on Wednesday.
“I’ll never back out of the truth about what happened that night at the Aspen club.”
The publication on social media appeared a day later TMZ reported that Jayne confronted her partner about the insult during the third part of the Bravo reunion, which airs Wednesday night.
In March, rumors surfaced that 63-year-old Hilton had allegedly called Stracke employee Joshua Roberts a gay off-camera insult during the filming of Season 12 of “RHOBH” two months earlier.
While the alleged swap was not captured on film in January, Hilton was caught pleading with her husband, Rick Hilton, to help her escape Colorado City amidst drama with the group.
“Please call me, I have to get out of here !!!!!” a socialite commented on one of Rick’s posts on Instagram at the time.
Kathy has yet to respond to the rumors, and Stracke, 51, has denied that the incident took place.
The reality show star dismissed the rumors in March, responding “no” when an Instagram fan asked, “Did Kathy Hilton really use an insult when talking about your assistant?”
As for Roberts, he called Stracke and Hilton “two of the greatest people” in the drama.
In an exclusive Page Six interview two months later, Stracke doubled up.
“When I saw that about Josh, I would not be happy because untruths have to be suppressed,” a businesswoman told us in May. – And no one ever said that.
She then explained that “Josh wasn’t even in Aspen,” calling the rumors “funny.”
Although Hilton did not address the accusation directly, she hinted that she contracted the “narcissists” by posting a seemingly suspicious quote in May.
“When the chips go down, the person who really cares about you wants to be there because you need them.” read the graphic from an account dedicated to “understanding narc”.
“Narcissus will only be with you because he needs it,” continued the quote.
“To feed on drama. To promote your false personality of “being that wonderful person who is always there for others” without imitating. To build up your debt obligations to them.
Hilton reps Jayne and Bravo have yet to respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
