Taylor Swift blew fans into a frenzy at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, giving hints that she would be re-releasing her album “Reputation” soon.

Receiving the award for Best Long Format Film at Sunday’s awards ceremony, the singer said it was “a clue we did something right” – and they know her Swifties all too well.

One Twitter user noted the resemblance to the lyrics from Swift’s song “Reputation” “Call It What You Want,” in which he repeats, “I did one thing right.”

“WE HAVE DONE SOMETHING CORRECT ????? PLAYS EVERYWHERE EVERYWHERE EGGS ” the viewer wrote along with a clip of a superstar’s speech.

While speculation may seem far-fetched, Swift is known to throw mysterious clues known as Easter Eggs to her fans in front of big projects.

Fans also noticed that the crystal-covered dress of the singer “Lover” is strikingly similar to the one she wore in the music video “Look What You Made Me Do”, which started the “Reputation” era.

The VMA Swift dress looked strikingly similar to her 2017 dress.

Swift appeared to be covered in thousands of sparkling stones in her Sunday dress by Oscar de la Renta – much like she bathed in a bathtub with diamonds in the 2017 music video. The high neckline of the dress also mimicked the chunky necklaces she wore in LWYMMD.

The singer “August” even wore her hair in an almost identical pin-up, along with a characteristic red lip.

Once is an opportunity, twice is a coincidence, but the third time is a pattern: fans were fully convinced they had cracked the code when Swift posted a video on TikTok using a very specific sound.

The Swifties believe the “venom” was a nod to the image of the snake the singer used in the video for “Look What You Made Me Do”, as well as the scenery for her “Reputation” stadium tour.

“EVERYTHING screams about reputation” one fan tweeted next to screenshots with visible evidence.

The pop icon graced the VMA 2022 red carpet for the first time in three years to celebrate five appointments.

In addition to Best Longform Video, Swift won the Music Video of the Year and Best Director for her short film “All too Well,” which was also awarded for Best Cinematography and Best Editing.

The artist has re-recorded her first six albums since Scooter Braun bought her masterpieces in 2019 and then sold them to an investment fund for $ 300 million in 2020.
