Fans react to ‘horrifying’ video of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs attacking Cassie Ventura
Fans are sharing their reactions to “horrifying” surveillance video of Sean “Diddy” Combs punching and kicking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a hotel in 2016.
“This is all very scary… Look at Diddy running after Cassie like crazy [is] just to hit her. And this man has four daughters???? Lock it immediately and throw away the key. God knows what he did to Cassie.” wrote one user on X Friday.
“We have video evidence, so there is nothing left to dispute. “Sean “Puffy, P. Diddy, Puff, Diddy & Love” Combs is a disgusting person and anyone who wants to defend his actions should go to therapy with him.” added another.
– Diddy is fucking disgusting. trying to change her name to “Love” after treating a woman this way is some of the nastiest and most manipulative work I have ever seen. pack it up for good. “I’m so proud of Cassie for getting out.” tweeted a third fan.
“Seeing Diddy running half-naked down the hall while Cassie is right next to the elevator trying to put her shoes on, SO close to freedom, knowing she can hear him coming is something out of a goddamn horror movie. “My heart started beating very fast.” – said the fourth person.
Some fans have spoken out about Cassie’s claims that the now-closed InterContinental hotel in Los Angeles was paid by the 54-year-old Bad Boy Records founder to keep the recording hidden from the public for so long.
“Diddy paid hotels thinking the recordings would never see the light of day. Evil. “Someone’s Always Making a Copy” one user claimed.
“Diddy paid the hotel 50,000 to keep the recording from going public, but it came out anyway. What happens in the dark will ALWAYS come to light.” added another fan.
On Friday afternoon, social media went up in flames CNN published a disturbing videowhich shows Combs chasing and attacking Cassie – born Casandra Ventura – in 2016.
In the footage, the “I’ll Be Miss You” rapper ran from his hotel room, wearing only a towel around his waist, to chase the 37-year-old “Me & U” singer, who was trying to get into an elevator and escape.
When Combs reached Cassie, he grabbed her by the neck and threw her to the floor. As she lay motionless, he kicked her twice before pulling the model’s sweatshirt.
In a statement to Page Six, Cassie’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, said: “This disturbing video has only further confirmed Mr. Combs’ disturbing and predatory behavior.
“Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in bringing this matter to light.”
Last November, Cassie filed a lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of physically abusing and raping her during their 10-year relationship.
In fact, the “Long Way 2 Go” singer detailed the incident in the leaked surveillance video in the complaint.
In the lawsuit obtained by Page Six, Cassie claimed that “on or about March 2016.” Combs “became very drunk and punched Ms. Ventura in the face, which resulted in her receiving a black eye.”
In the complaint, the mother of two alleged that she tried to leave the hotel room after the Revolt TV founder fell asleep, but he woke up and “followed her into the hotel hallway, shouting at her.”
“He grabbed her, then took glass vases from the hallway and threw them at her, causing the glass to shatter around them as she ran to the elevator to escape,” the lawsuit alleges.
Cassie also alleged in the lawsuit that Combs raped her in her apartment “while she repeatedly said ‘no’ and tried to push him away.”
Although Combs denied the allegations, the lawsuit was settled the next day.
Since Cassie’s lawsuit, the hip-hop mogul has faced four other civil lawsuits accusing him of a range of sexual misconduct and other illegal activities.
Combs has denied all claims.
