Frank Catania tried to “stay calm” in the final fight “RHONJ”

Frank Catania says he tried to “keep the peace” during the explosive recording of the season 13 finale of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”.
Beloved Househusband told Page Six in an exclusive interview on Monday that the dramatic episode was filmed at the house of his ex-wife Dolores Catania’s boyfriend, Paul “Paulie” Connell, where the “Housewife” now lives.
“We’re going to a party and it was nice! You’ll see, it’s a theme party and it was great, ”Frank explained.
“Look, Paulie did a great job. His place was so beautifully decorated … [but] we didn’t even get to all the themes he created because it was so crazy. ‘
Careful, so as not to give away any spoilers for the upcoming season, Frank said of what happened: “Let’s put it this way: there must be people among women; there had to be people among the men. “
Frank explained that these “people” included security guards as well as cast members – including himself.
“I always try to stay calm and calm everyone down,” he said. “But it’s hard to hold back!”
Frank – whose girlfriend, Brittany Mattessich, had joined our interview – was delighted that she had accidentally left the party early so she wouldn’t have to witness this madness.
“He hates aggression, screams and screams,” he explained when Mattessich nodded in agreement. (Do they know what program they are in?)
“A lot happened after the final, which decided what happened at the wedding, which is a pity.”
After a party at Connell’s on the night of August 3, Joe Gorga decided that he and his wife Melissa Gorga would not attend their sister Teresa Giudica’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas on August 6.
As we wrote earlier, the decision was made by 50-year-old Giudice, who during the finals gave unsubstantiated rumors about 43-year-old Melissa cheating on 42-year-old Joe with actor Nick Barrotta – which we were told were laughing.
Although Mattessich described the wedding as “beautiful” and the bride as “stunning,” she admitted that she was “a bit sad that [Giudice’s] brother wasn’t there.
Frank agreed, adding that he would like Joe to accompany his sister down the aisle.
“To see Teresa leave the church and walk alone down the aisle when everyone knows Joe should be with her.” … He’s the only one left, and it’s a small family, ”he said, referring to the death of his siblings’ parents.
“This bothered me because you can’t get it back. You won’t get it back. You can’t say, “Oh, let’s do this.” You won’t make it. So that was the only thing that bothered me, ‘continued Frank.
“And I talked to Joe about it … [he and Melissa] I have very strong, strong feelings for this. And to be honest, I am not optimistic about the return of this relationship. “
Frank thinks Joe would “definitely” have given Teresa had it not been for “the problem” a few days earlier.
“I’m a little in the middle because I’m friends with both of them,” he told us. “Joe would have loved it if I hadn’t gone [to the wedding] to support him, but when I told him, “No, Joe, it won’t happen,” he didn’t bother me at all.
In addition to the absence of his partner in both the crime and the merriment, Frank said he “had a great time” at the wedding and that Giudice and Ruelas, 48, did their best.
“There was nothing – nothing – that was not included,” he revealed. “Talk about overdoing it – it was overkill in every way.”
Bravo has not yet announced the release date of the 13th season of “RHONJ”.
