Next, Gabby introduced Erichher latest suitor, to her parents, aunt, and Bachelor Nation fan favorite Grandpa Ivan. The visit itself went very well, with Erich telling Gabby’s family, “I can’t imagine my life without her.”

Back to Rachel, who was still reeling from her confusing conversation with Aven when she introduced herself Tino her family Tino was very awkward and nervous, unable to connect as well as Aven. When Big Tony told Tino that Tino’s family didn’t like Rachel, Tino expressed his shock, saying, “Honestly, the only thing I talk about with my dad is sports.”

However, he reassured Rachel’s family that they would be coming and ended the day by noting: “I feel a little overwhelmed by how well meeting Rachel’s family went.”

With a potential engagement on the horizon, Rachel and Avena obviously still had a lot to discuss. Rachel visited his room, telling him she felt “blindsided” by his apparently sudden suggestion that he wasn’t ready to be engaged.

“I want to get out of here with you,” Aven told Rachel. “I want it more than anything. I’m sitting here trying to fight for it.”

But Rachel didn’t accept it.

Rachel cried and told Aven that it was over between them. As they both cried, they hugged and Aven whispered, “I’m sorry, Rachel.”

Aven, of course, was backstage and went live for a one-on-one with Rachel where they both discussed things. Aven said he regrets not telling Rachel about his hesitations about getting engaged in front of her friends, eventually saying, “I didn’t fully understand what you needed and wanted.”
