Gabrielle Union’s daughter Kaavia wears the Little Mermaid costume
Gabrielle Union proudly dressed her daughter Kaavia as Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” after trailer release the upcoming Disney live action movie starring Halle Bailey.

The cute costume has been completed with a custom-made version of Disney’s iconic turquoise princess tail.
Bailey, who plays Ariel in the upcoming story, jumped into the comment section, writing “oh, I love it!”
Union, who is Zaire’s stepmother, 20, Xavier, 8 and Zaya, 15, from Wade, replied, “I told you at the party that Kaav was OBSESSED !!! Thank you for shining so bright my 🖤. “
After Disney dropped a trailer for an upcoming movie last month, social media exploded with cute videos young black girls reacting to the sight of a Disney princess that looked like them on the screen.
Bailey, 22, even shared the build on her Instagram account.
“Watching these young children react makes me very emotional,” she wrote in the caption.
Disney first revealed that singer Chloe x Halle will take on the iconic role of Ariel when the live action movie is announced in 2019.
Bailey recently spoke about her experience shooting a movie and why representation is so important.
