Game of Thrones’ Jack Gleeson marries Roseanne O’Mahony

Move over, Red Wedding — there are new ones Game of Thrones wedding to discuss!

Jack Gleasonwho played the loathsome King Joffrey Baratheon in the first four seasons of the HBO drama, married his girlfriend Rosin O’Mahony. The couple tied the knot in a small ceremony in County Kerry, Ireland, which was naturally announced by their priest on social media.

Father of Patsy Lynch published a series of photos of newlyweds— including him posing with them himself — on Twitter on August 29. The photos, which show the couple smiling in their casual wedding attire, were captioned: “A very simple, prayerful and dignified wedding ceremony for Jason Gleeson and Roisin: The Glen Church.”

Although the priest got the actor’s name wrong in his tweet, Lynch happily responded to a comment on the photos, writing: “It was an amazing celebration. Everyone was so relaxed. I will cherish so many memories of this special day.”

When another commenter praised the small nature of the wedding, Lynch replied: “I agree. This simple wedding ceremony was amazing because of its simplicity and families coming together to celebrate.”
