Garcelle Beauvais says Andy Cohen’s apology “meant a lot”
Garcelle Beauvais commended Andy Cohen for contacting her after he rejected Lisa Rinna’s confession that she had thrown her partner’s diary in the garbage.
“We talked. Absolutely. He called me before he apologized, and you know he’s great,” ex-model, 55, said E! News.
“There were a lot of things missing during the reunion and it was really sad and unfortunate, but I like Andy and I think the fact that he got up and said something meant a lot.”
Beauvais’ comments came a week after Cohen publicly apologized for not being more “in tune with her feelings” when she was visibly upset at the Season 12 “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” convention.
“I have to really apologize sincerely not only for changing the subject, but also for not going back – even worse – to the serious conversation that was on hand,” said Cohen, 54. SiriusXM Andy Radio.
Boss Bravo said he has “deep admiration for Garcelle” and the couple had “a really good, productive conversation.”
Fans previously pounced on Cohen for laughing along with Rinna and Erika Jayne from Beauvais’ Love Me as I Am diary, which was thrown in the trash and joked about their recycling habits.
“She has so many shitty things [not] recycling. Then I really I felt bad, “quipped Rinna after Jayne said she was” fucking “for her controversial buddy.
Moments earlier, Rinna confessed that she was angry with her former close friend for including her daughter Amelia Hamlin’s eating disorder in the first draft of her diary.
Although it had been removed from the current copy, Rinna protested by throwing Beauvais’s book into the trash and taking a photo of it.
After sharing it in a group chat that Beauvais wasn’t in, Jayne uploaded it to her social media and took the credit for a diss.
