Gisele Bündchen Shares Rare Photo With Five Sisters, Late Mom, on Mother’s Day
Gisele Bündchen honored her late mother in a touching tribute on Instagram on Mother’s Day.
“It’s still hard to say ‘mom’ without getting emotional,” the model signed with flashback photos with Vânia Nonnenmacher and her five sisters.
“There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t miss my mom,” Bündchen, 43, continued. “My mother was an amazing person who always helped everyone around her.[…]She was strong, loving and compassionate. There was nothing she couldn’t do.”
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel went on to write that Nonnenmacher, who died in January at the age of 75, “was an incredible role model” for her and Patricia, Rafaela, Graziela, Raquela and Gabriela.
“Being a mother is the best, sometimes demanding, but always satisfying experience. I will always be grateful to my mother for her guidance,” Bündchen gushed, before writing directly to her late parent.
“Mom, even though I can no longer feel your embrace, I know that you are always watching over our family and are our guiding light!” – she concluded.
The businesswoman has two children with her ex-husband Tom Brady – son Benjamin (14) and daughter Vivian (11).
She regularly referred to herself as a “bonus mom” to her 16-year-old athlete son, Jack, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Brady honored both women with his own Instagram post for Mother’s Day over the weekend.
“Happy Mother’s Day to these kind, caring, compassionate and POWERFUL mothers that I am lucky to have in my life,” gushed the retired quarterback (46). “None of this would be possible without your love ❤️❤️❤️.”
His social media slideshow included photos of Bündchen and Moynahan, 53, as well as his mom, Galynn Brady.
The carousel came a week after the Netflix series “The Roast of Tom Brady” revealed the names of the athlete’s exes.
Bündchen was reportedly “disappointed” by the “irresponsible” jokes about herself and her boyfriend Joaquim Valente. People reported after the May 5 special edition.
As for Moynahan, the “Blue Bloods” star reposted a cryptic quote about “loyalty” on Instagram after the live event.
The actress then added an emotional video in which she talked about being “nice,” but did not comment on it directly.
