Graduates of “Bachelor in Paradise” Astrid Loch, Kevin Wendt are married
Bachelor in Paradise graduates Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt are officially married!
After welcoming their first child last November, reality stars said ‘yes’ on Friday at an outdoor wedding at Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, Florida. Reported persons.
Among the 100 guests of this couple were the stars of “Bachelor” Nation Rachel Lindsay, Blake Horstmann, Alexis Waters, Kristina Schulman and Whitney Fransway.
The 32-year-old Loch wore a custom-made Gail Lahav gown and walked down the aisle to John Legend’s Conversations in the Dark.
The duo’s son, August, wore a tuxedo that matched his dad’s and waited at the altar for his mom to make her grand entrance.
The bride’s stepfather acted as the host, and the couple abandoned the traditional wedding party.
Loch and Wendt, 38, said People wanted their big day to be “timeless” and “classy”, while they hoped their guests would stay “disconnected”.
They made sure they put out “really, really good food” and did their first dance to Dan + Shay’s Tequila.
“Much of it had to do with the fact that we were meeting at Raj and drinking tequila together for a month,” said Wendt.
In a few days, the newlyweds will have their honeymoon in the Bahamas – and it will be the first time they leave the Auggy since they had it.
“We are very excited about our first childless vacation since he was born,” Loch said, noting that her mother would be watching the nearly 1-year-old.
“Getting married and having people from the show and everything else, it’s fun to look back and reflect and think that so little choice of both of us who chose this show led to everything it led to,” she added.
Loch and Wendt met at “BiP” in 2018. After a brief break-up, they reconciled and got engaged in August 2019.
In July of the following year, they announced they were postponing the wedding until November 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, after struggling to conceive for almost two years, they welcomed their baby boy this month instead.
“We’ve had the countdown for so long,” said Wendt People, because he and his new wife agreed that it feels like “they’ve been married for a long time.”
