Two Swedish ice hockey defenders, Nick Lidstrom and Gustav Lindstrom, are not related. However, they have a similar professional history.

Born in Ostervala in Sweden, he has hockey in his genes. Lindstrom’s uncle, Marcus Ragnarsson, a defenseman, played nine seasons in the NHL and his cousin, defenseman Jacob Ragnarsson, was selected by the New York Rangers in the third round (No. 70) of the 2018 NHL Draft and is playing in Sweden.
