Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde in Venice in the drama “Don’t worry baby”
Olivia Wilde certainly doesn’t look worried, honey.
The director was seen smiling as he landed in Italy for the upcoming premiere of his new film “Don’t Worry Baby” at the Venice Film Festival – despite the ongoing drama that has been making headlines for weeks.
Her boyfriend Harry Styles – who stars alongside Florence Pugh in the psycho-thriller – was also photographed on Sunday, though it looks like they came separately.
Wilde, 38, stunned in a cream-colored blazer and tight pants that she tucked into a pair of black cowboy boots. She complemented the look with a pair of dark shades and highlighted braids styled in loose waves.
Meanwhile, 28-year-old Styles looked chic in a purple Gucci blazer, green sweater vest and light blue jeans.
The former heartbeat of One Direction comes with white sneakers, large brown glasses and three animal print bags.
The main character of the film, 26-year-old Pugh, flew in a private jet ahead of Monday’s red carpet. Apparently, however, he will skip the press conference.
Representatives for the festival Diversity said he will join Wilde, Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, Kiki Layne and Nick Kroll at the premiere, but will not participate in any interviews with them.
The event takes place a week after the video comes out, in which Wilde refers to Pugh as “Miss Flo,” asking Shia LaBeouf – who was originally cast as Styles – to return to the film.
“I think this might be a wake-up call for Miss Flo and I want to know if you are open to trying with me, with us,” she said in a film leakedsuggesting a dispute between the fighting actor and the main actress of the film.
“If she’s really committed, if she really puts her mind and heart into it at this point, and if you can make peace – and I respect your point of view, I respect her – but if you can do it, what do you think?”
Wilde previously Diversity said that LaBeouf, 36, was allegedly cut off from the project and replaced by her current boyfriend to keep other cast members “safe” from “combat energy.”
LaBeouf, who was accused of the abuse in 2021 and has been seeking treatment since then, denied Wilde’s allegations, saying he actually quit the film.
“I was never fired, Olivia,” LaBeouf said in a statement to Variety.
“And while I fully understand the appeal of promoting this story because of the current social landscape, the social currency it brings. That’s not true”.
Pugh has yet to comment publicly on the latest drama starring LaBeouf and the movie that hit theaters on September 23.
