Hedge founder Larry Leeds, 93, married Ginger Feuer
Never too old to fall in love.
Renowned hedge founder Larry Leeds, who was president of Buckingham Capital Management until 2019, at the age of 93 on Sunday
Leeds was married to Dalia Leeds for 60 years and Feuer was married to Myron Feuer for 45 years, but both of their partners died.
We were told that the four were close friends and were on vacation together.
Leeds and Feuer – who have known each other for 40 years – reunited at a party as widows in Palm Beach, Florida, and had their first date at Sistina on New York’s Upper East Side.
Feuer tells us that Leeds was the perfect gentleman, he walked her back to her apartment and kissed her goodnight. “There was a spark,” he says.
They have been together for a year and a half. Leeds proposed last October, saying, “I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” She tells Page Six that she loves “Feuer’s red hair, lively character and sensuality.”
Meanwhile, Feuer says he admires Leeds for his handsome looks and intelligence.
We hear the pair will tie the knot in front of Rabbi Joshua Davidson of the Temple of Emanu-El in the home of Feuer’s son and daughter-in-law, Matthew Feuer and Liz Toll Feuer.
Forty guests are expected, including Alan Patricof of Apax Partners, John Rosenwald of JP Morgan, art collectors Robbi and Bruce Toll, and Leeds daughters Ashley and Tracy.
Freuer has collaborated with the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and City Meals on Wheels.
Leeds, the former CEO of Manhattan Industries who founded the Perry Ellis fashion brand, is also involved in charity and running the family foundation. He is currently focusing on the Cary Leeds Center for Tennis and Learning in the Bronx, which he founded in honor of his deceased son.
The couple is also active in the Palm Beach and NYC community circulation.
We wish the newlyweds happiness in the world. Mazel tov!
