He started at weakside linebacker as a junior before moving to left defensive end as a senior. At the end of the 2011 season, Taylor announced his retirement on December 28, 2011. He played his final game on January 1, 2012, defeating the New York Jets 19-17. With 139.5 sacks, Jason retired sixth on the NFL’s all-time sack list.
