How Jesse Williams’ children reacted to seeing their dad on the big screen

Jesse Williams not an ordinary dad – he’s a cool dad.

At least that’s what his kids think after watching one of his movies Grey’s Anatomy alum. Speaking exclusively to E! News about his partnership with Kidde’s Cause for Alarm campaignWilliams shared this son Maceo7 years old and a daughter Sadie8, were absolutely stunned when they saw him in the recently released superhero movie, Secret headquarters.

“It was really cool for them to see the result of dad going and doing two months in another state,” he shared. I haven’t been this excited since I did this Sesame Street!”

And his children were a big reason why Williams took on the role. After all, what Dr. Jackson Avery does at Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital is not exactly family.

“There are jokes for adults and [I] get to work Owen Wilson and Michael Peña…but the central characters are a bunch of kids, Williams said of the film. “My kids were very happy to go and see it.”
