Inside the lavish wedding of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck in Georgia
“Love never fails.”
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck said “yes” a second time at a lavish ceremony at the Affleck mansion in Riceboro, Georgia on Saturday.
The lovebirds – who originally hit Las Vegas last month – have been welcomed by stars such as Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel, along with talent agent Patrick Whitesell, Australian model Pia Miller, and Jay and Silent Bob stars Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes.
Damon flew a private jet to Georgia on Friday with his wife Luciana Barroso, as previously mentioned by Page Six, while Affleck’s younger brother Casey and ex-wife Jennifer Garner did not show up at the three-day event despite receiving invitations.
Inside the reception, a neon “Mr. and Mrs. Affleck “adorned one wall, and on the floor were laid several wooden planks with the words” Love always hopes and always keeps “,” Love never fails “and” Love always protects, always trusts “.
The fourth sign read, “Love is not easily angry and keeps no record of wrongs.”
Throughout the night, Miller shared a series of clips for her Instagram Story, including a stunning fireworks display and a short video of herself on the dance floor.
The wedding was even a reunion of Mewes and Smith who posed for an appetizer with their wives, Jordan Monsanto and Jennifer Schwalbach Smith.
“Dress like f-… @jenschwalbach, @jaymewes and @jordanmonsanto in the city,” wrote Smith. group appetizer in their all-white teams.
“It is as formal as I have been dressed since maybe my first communion when I was 7,” joked the director.
Meanwhile, former Mrs. Affleck, Garner, was smiling as she skipped the ceremony in favor of visiting Sam’s Club.
The actress was photographed in a store in South Charleston, West Virginia, just before 4pm on Saturday, TMZ reported.
The outlet photos showed the actress swinging in casual attire while shopping with her father and her businessman boyfriend John Miller.
Garner’s children, 16-year-old Violet, 13-year-old Seraphina and 10-year-old Samuel, did not go hand in hand as they spent the weekend celebrating their dad’s red-hot romance with the singer “Let’s Get Loud.”
The Afflecks first said “yes” at a modest ceremony in Las Vegas in July after being allowed to marry Clark County, NJ. The next day, Lopez took to her “On The JLo” newsletter to share details of the big day with fans.
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is nice. And it turns out that love is patient. Patience for twenty years,” the actress “Marry me” gushed then.
“We flew to Vegas yesterday evening queuing for a license with four other couples who made the same trip to the wedding capital of the world.”
She continued: “Behind us, two men were holding hands and holding each other. Ahead of us is a young couple who drove a three-hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday – we all want the same – for the world to recognize us as partners and confess our love to the world through an ancient and almost universal symbol of marriage. “
Lopez added that for her special day she wore an “old movie dress” by tying the knot in the “little chapel”.
The Boston bully from the Bronx met on the set of their “Gigli” movie in 2001, while Lopez was still married to her second husband, Cris Judd.
After their separation in June 2002, “Bennifer” appeared and Affleck first proposed in 2002. Unfortunately, they never reached the altar the first time.
The couple met again in 2021 and it has been a tumultuous romance ever since.
