James Kennedy admits to dissolving Southern Charm girls
This DJ has to drop the microphone.
Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy was called to a BravoCon party after a Page Six spy overheard him saying there were no “pretty” girls in Southern Charm.
The reality show star played shyly when he apparently admitted to dissuing – but still stuck into the hole, saying he was actually thinking about a different cast.
“First of all, I got confused by the shows, because of course there are a lot of pretty girls [“Southern Charm”]”Kennedy, 30, said during the recorded episode of” Watch What Happens Live: Charming House Rules “at the Javits Center in New York on Saturday night.
WWHL host Andy Cohen then called on DJ to explain which show he was actually playing, but Kennedy waved his finger and closed his mouth.
“I’m taking it back too,” Kennedy told the audience.
Cohen, 54, did not let go of the Brit and continued on the subject, but Kennedy simply replied: “I don’t remember! I don’t remember!”
Producer Bravo then drew attention to Southern Charm star Venita Aspen, who expressed her concern over the comments.
“I am very disappointed. I am very disappointed,” Aspen, 29, emphasized, while Kennedy hid his face in his hands.
Shep Rose, the male cast member of Southern Charm, whose appearance was also criticized by Kennedy, defended himself and his castmates and told DJ he “looks 80 years old”.
A Page Six spy caught Kennedy criticizing his fellow Bravolebrities’ performances at the Gansevoort Meatpacking Hotel in New York on Friday night.
“I never even thought a pretty girl was on Southern Charm,” he overheard Ally Lewber and his friends telling the girl.
The controversial cast member of the VPR also added that he “didn’t understand” why “everyone thinks Shep is cute.”
One of Kennedy’s friends has suggested it is because Rose, 42, is “old.”
Hundreds of Bravo stars are currently on the Big Apple for BravoCon 2022, a three-day event featuring the cast and crew of the most popular franchise on the web.
