Jenna Bush Hager hilariously confesses that she never wears underwear
Jenna Bush Hager and BFF Hoda Kotb still don’t know all about each other.
During Wednesday’s “Today with Hoda and Jenna” epic, Kotb revealed she was “surprised” to learn that Bush Hager “never wears underwear.”
According to Kotb, the couple must have shared a dressing room ahead of the live show that morning when she “noticed” her co-host’s penchant for becoming a ranger.
“I just had a little shock,” she joked, adding that the couple already “know a lot about each other.”
When her secret was revealed to millions of viewers across the country, Bush Hager defended her decision by saying that it “makes the figure prettier!”
“I also think you don’t need to pack so much. It has many advantages!” she added before scolding Kotb for exposing her to a live studio audience.
“You promised me you wouldn’t!” There are a lot of people here!” she was joking. “I’m sure my mom has never been more proud.”
Both ladies agreed that not wearing underwear could “make life easier” but resulted in a lot of laundry.
“[Hoda] he said, “You wash your clothes,” and I was like, “Yes, I do.” But it’s not like I’m sharing my jeans with you either,” the former first daughter argued.
“Though I steal Savannah [Guthrie]sometimes pants,” she revealed before asking if she could borrow Kotb’s “red suit.”
“I will wear underwear.” Bush Hager quickly added.
When the two ladies aren’t busy talking about lingerie choices, they get a chance to chat with some of the most interesting people in the world – including Michelle Obama.
The former First Lady joined Kotb and Bush Hager earlier this week to talk about her new book, The Light We Carry, and how her family has adapted to life outside the White House.
In fact, Obama revealed that her daughters, Sasha and Malia, have moved into a house together in Los Angeles.
“What I love most is that these two girls are each other’s best friends,” she said.
“There was a period when they couldn’t stand each other and I said, ‘Wait, one day you’ll wake up and look at the other person and you’ll know that you two have something very special, especially considering what they’ve been through.’ .
