“I want him to be happy and healthy so he can be the best dad in the world,” the source said he told People Tuesday.
The first couple has co-parented Violet (18), Seraphina (15) and Samuel (12) since their split in 2015.

The ex-partners are still on friendly parental terms as news headlines about Affleck going without a wedding ring and missing the premiere of Lopez’s “Atlas.”
The “Gone Girl” star even attended her eldest child’s graduation party on Memorial Day weekend without Lopez.
Earlier this month, Violet received her high school diploma, and Garner shared emotional photos of herself crying on Instagram.
“Tell me you have a degree without telling me you have one. 🎓 (bless our hearts 🥺♥️🤣),” the proud mother gushed on May 20.
Lopez, who has been photographed spending time with Violet and her siblings over the years, has two children of her own.
The actress has 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Lopez and Affleck’s love story began before she became a mother, and the couple was engaged from 2002 to 2004.
They reconciled in 2021 and got engaged the following April.
