Jennifer Lopez Briefly Mentions Ben Affleck Amid Divided Speculation
Jennifer Lopez briefly mentioned her husband Ben Affleck during her performance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” as speculations about their marriage are still rife.
On Monday, the “Love Don’t Cost” hitmaker shared an anecdote about how she first met Barbra Streisand.
During the story, the 54-year-old told Kimmel that the “A Woman in Love” singer commented on the engagement ring Affleck gave her “many years ago.”
“So it’s a big diamond,” Streisand told Lopez two decades ago. “And I said, ‘Yes, it’s true.’”
Lopez and Affleck, 51, started dating in 2002 and got engaged that same year. However, the couple separated in 2004, after postponing their wedding a year earlier.
Elsewhere, Kimmel asked if Lopez would bring her twins Max and 16-year-old Emme with her on her upcoming “This Is Me… Now” tour.
The “Jenny from the Block” singer admitted that it’s “awkward” for her children to watch her perform because they see her alone without the “sexy” things she does on stage.
“You don’t do sexy things at home?” She asked Kimmel, to which she replied, “Sometimes I do sexy things at home, but they don’t know it.”
A few hours later, J.Lo walked the red carpet alone at the premiere of her new movie “Atlas.”
The mother of two was not joined by the “Argo” actor at the glitzy event in Los Angeles, but she did wear a wedding ring on her left ring finger.
Hours before the “Atlas” premiere, a source exclusively told Page Six that Affleck had “come to his senses” about the couple’s marriage.
Affleck’s apparent absence from the premiere comes exactly two weeks after the couple first sparked divisive rumors when Lopez attended the 2024 Met Gala without him — despite serving as one of the event’s co-chairs.
A week later, TMZ reported that the couple was living apart.
According to reports, the Oscar winner began staying overnight at the home in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood – less than 30 minutes from his and Lopez’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion – almost two weeks ago.
Page Six later learned that Affleck was quietly looking for homes in the Los Angeles area.
