Jennifer Lopez in good spirits at a pre-tour rehearsal amid rumors of her split from Ben Affleck
Jennifer Lopez was all smiles as she was seen entering a dance studio in Los Angeles on Friday amid rumors that she and Ben Affleck are headed for divorce.
The star flashed a bright smile as she donned wide-legged white sweatpants, a cream off-the-shoulder top and matching sneakers. She looked ready to dance all day long, with her hair tied up in a high bun.
Lopez, 54, wore a similar outfit earlier this week when she was spotted house hunting – which insiders say had nothing to do with breakup chatter.
Instead, they insisted she look for an investment property.
But earlier this week, Page Six learned that Affleck, 51, is in the process of shopping for homes in the Los Angeles area.
TMZ also reported that he is in Brentwood, California, where he and Lopez are working out their problems.
The outlet received photos of the star driving his sports car around the bustling neighborhood with his wedding ring still on.
Lopez also wore a ring on her left ring finger as she headed to the dance studio on Friday, although it’s unclear whether it’s her marital bling.
While neither party has confirmed any trouble in paradise, the “On The Floor” hitmaker apparently alluded to marital problems by “liking” an Instagram post about a partner with unhealthy traits such as lack of respect and honesty.
An insider also told Us Weekly on Thursday that the couple began having serious problems “a few months ago” as Lopez began preparing for her upcoming tour.
“Jen is very focused on work,” the source explained. “Most of the time they are on two completely different pages.”
Lopez’s concert tour under the changed name “This Is Me…Live | The Greatest Hits,” which is reportedly having trouble selling tickets, will open in June.
Affleck has suggested in the past that compromise on both sides is needed for their relationship to work.
“When Jen and I broke up previously, the catalyst for it was the increased scrutiny of our private lives,” the “Armageddon” star explained in Lopez’s documentary “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” which premiered in February.
“At first I had a very strong sense of boundaries around the press.”
Affleck added that when they found love again in 2021, he told Lopez from the beginning that he didn’t want their relationship on social media or in the spotlight.
“And then I kind of realized it was inappropriate to ask about it. It’s a bit like marrying the captain of a boat and… [say] something like, “Well, I don’t like water,” he thought.
“We are two people with different approaches trying to learn to compromise.”
The famous duo, nicknamed “Bennifer”, were first engaged in 2002 but postponed their wedding a year later before finally splitting in January 2004.
They rekindled shortly after Lopez’s 2021 split from ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez.
Affleck and the “Shades of Blue” alum walked down the street in Las Vegas in July 2022, and held an official ceremony at their Georgia mansion the following August.
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind,” the “Can’t Get Enough” singer gushed in a newsletter sent to fans after the Vegas ceremony. “And it turns out that love is patient. Patience for twenty years.
