Jennifer Lopez revealed what Ben Affleck said to her in his wedding speech

“Ben and I talked about it Mark Kohn‘True Companion’ was the perfect wedding love song in this very house over twenty years ago,” Jennifer wrote. “Unbeknownst to Ben, I asked Mark to surprise him by singing it at our wedding.”

But Mark had more than one tune up his sleeve for the special moment. JLo said as she started walking down the aisle and Mark started playing “The Things We’ve Handed Down.” The song was “the perfect choice” because her 14-year-old twins, Emmy and Max(which she shares with her ex-husband Mark Anthony) and Ben’s children Violet16, Serafina13 and Samuel10, (whom he shares with ex Jennifer Garner), walked in front of her in the west.

“A song about the amazing mystery of children,” JLo recalled, “at the time we could only guess, but it was a perfect choice because our five children were walking ahead of me.”
