Jessie J reflects on ‘angel baby’ miscarriage a year later: ‘It still hurts’

Exactly one year after losing her “angel child,” Jessie J reflects on a painful experience.

The 34-year-old ‘Domino’ hitmaker bravely spoke about his grief, saying that even though it’s been a year, it ‘still hurts’.

On her Instagram, the Grammy-nominated singer admitted that “sadness is such a strange and personal journey.”

“A year ago today I was told that my baby no longer has a heart,” she told her 12 million followers.

“While I can now tell this story without crying, I am discovering and continuing to discover all the positives that the experience has given me.”

Jessie – whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish – said the experience gave her “strength, wisdom, empathy and gratitude”, but admits that “it still hurts and I think all day about all the women, men and families who have gone through through it many times and how incredibly strong they are.”

Clearly choked as she rocked back and forth to the soft music, the pop star continued: “I decided to have the baby myself. And then, miraculously, it worked for a while. And yesterday, yes, yesterday was fucking st.
