Jessie James Decker reveals Eric’s reaction to her body paint “DWTS”
Jessie James Decker’s husband, Eric Decker, was a huge fan of hers sexy look of the girl Bond for Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars”.
The country singer was covered head to toe in gold body paint in a James Bond-themed episode and received an enthusiastic review from her retired NFL star husband.
– He knows about the surprise. Oh for sure, 34-year-old Jessie said exclusively to Page Six in the ballroom. “I was FaceTiming with him [earlier]. He was so excited about it.
Singer “Should Have Known Better” added that 35-year-old Eric was “ecstatic” as fans were able to see a surprise during “Bond Night”. described as “spicy”.
“He said,” Wear it around the house! ” Jessie recalls laughing. “I was like,” No! I need this from me! “
Jessie’s appearance was inspired by the iconic, gold-painted body of actress Shirley Eaton – then created by make-up artist Paul Rabiger – for Bond’s 1964 film “Goldfinger” starring Sean Connery. The fashion designer told us that on the day of the show it was a real commitment, both for herself and for the DWTS hair and makeup team.
“Honestly, it took several hours. For example, I haven’t seen any of the other shows, ”she explained, noting that it took three people to make this movie perfectly.
Professional partner of Kittenish founder Alan Bersten also cut in, telling Page Six: “What they did was really special. She came downstairs and – as you can see – it wasn’t golden at first. They painted her during a live performance [backstage]”.
Bersten, 28, added: “They wanted it to be a pleasant surprise and I think it worked.”
While Eric was hoping to see the look in person, Jessie admitted that she was looking forward to starting the showering process – so she could be fresh on her red flight from Los Angeles to Nashville later that evening.
“I can’t wait to wash it off,” she said. “It’s paint, but it’s also like a seal. I do not know how to describe it. But they had to literally remove all the moisture from my skin for it to stick, and that’s why I feel like my skin is dehydrated. “
A unique disguise was created for rumba Jessie and Bersten for “Goldfinger” Shirley Bassey, for which they received a total score of 26/40 from judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.
“I think Jessie did a great job,” marveled Bersten. “I really believe it was her best dance.”
On last week’s “DWTS” episode dedicated to Elvis Presley, Eric was in the audience with his 4-year-old son, Forrest, who was adorably dressed like the King of Rock’n’Rolla.
“He was just proud. I mean, he’s 4, so he’s small, but he’s just proud of mommy, ”Jessie said after the Page Six concert via Zoom. “And he’s a huge Elvis fan, so tonight meant so much to him.”
Jessie and Eric got married in June 2013. In addition to Forrest, the alumni of “Eric & Jessie: Game On” are also parents of 8-year-old daughter Vivianne and 7-year-old son Eric Decker II.
