According to the sources, when the accident happened the bus was passing through Polenta Road with 31 students. According to the reports, the accident occurred around 2 PM at Clayton.
Although, it didn’t determine what caused the accident. It seems that the bus driver must have lost control of the bus and smashed it.
Then, Highway state patrol took the case of the Johnston County School Bus Accident. They investigated the area where ancient occurred.
According to their reports, the road was clear and no other vehicles were involved during the crash. Other than this, they didn’t reveal anything regarding the accident.
