Kanye West changes Instagram avatar to Kris Jenner from “room”
Kanye West said he changed his Instagram avatar to a picture of Kris Jenner from “peace and respect.”
Fashion designer Yeezy made a replacement Wednesday and explained that the decision was not due to an argument.
“I sent Kris with thoughts of peace and respect, let us [sic] change the narrative ”- he wrote in his Instagram Stories.
Currently, the avatar is the exact same photo that Jenner, 66, uses on her account.
The seemingly friendly news came out just weeks after West, 45, launched a social media campaign against the Jenner and the Kardashians, including his broken-up wife Kim Kardashian. In one post that has since been removed, the artist cursed the famous momager for allowing Kylie Jenner and Kim to pose for Playboy.
“Don’t let Kris make you play the playboy like she did [Kylie] and Kim, West began, turning to Victoria Villarroel, Kylie Jenner’s former assistant.
“Hollywood is a giant brothel. Pornography has destroyed my family. I deal with the addiction promoted by Instagram. I won’t let that happen in Northy and Chicago, ”he added of his daughters.
He later apologized for causing “stress” to the life of the founder of Skims.
“This is the mother of my children and I apologize for any stress I have caused, even in my frustration because God is calling me to be stronger,” said the rapper.
“I need this person to be less stressed and have the best healthy mind,” he added. “And as easy as possible to be able to raise these children at the end of the day.”
West and Kim, 41, have four children: North 9, Saint 6, Chicago 4, and Psalm 3.
