Kanye West’s Twitter profile seems to be active again shortly after Elon Musk completed a $ 44 billion acquisition Thursday.

The rapper’s account – which was suspended after tweeting anti-Semitic comments earlier this month – shows his previous tweets, 31.5 million followers, and all the other likes of an active account.

It is unclear if Musk’s takeover is linked to West’s account activation. Twitter did not promptly return our request for comment.

Musk, 51, initially greeted 45-year-old West on Twitter after Instagram restricted the rapper’s account in response to negative comments about Jews on October 8.

Shortly after turning to Twitter, West was suspended from this platform after he wrote that he wanted to “set himself to die con 3 ON THE JEWISH PEOPLE”.

Musk claimed that he and West had a conversation about an anti-Semitic tweet after his account was restricted.

“I spoke to you today and I expressed my concerns about his last tweet, which I think he took to heart.” Musk tweeted on October 10.

West also returned to Instagram earlier this week.

Rapper “Heartless” wrote that he still “loves” Ari Emanuel, despite his views on why companies should sever ties with the West over his anti-Semitic comments.
