Kanye West defended his Yeezy Gap displays after making headlines for selling his designs from “trash bags.”

The 45-year-old rapper explained that his merchandise is actually packed in big construction bags in Fox News interview on Thursdaycalling himself an “innovator”.

West added: “I’m not here to sit down and apologize for my ideas. This is exactly what the media are trying to do: make us apologize for any idea that doesn’t exactly match how they want us to think.

“This is not a joke, this is not a game, it is not just collaborating with celebrities … this is my life,” continued the Grammy winner.

West noted his efforts to “change clothes”, concluding, “I’m fighting for a position to… bring people the best design.”

The rapper “Stronger” called the “homeless” his inspiration in Friday’s Instagram post, prompting many to criticize his performances earlier this week.

“Kanye fetish with the homeless as” fashion muses ” [is] all that is wrong with billionaires ”one Twitter user wrote.

“They no longer see the plight of people, they don’t see people who are suffering, they see opportunities to be nervous and profitable.”
